RVA VRC Tournament 1/18/2020

McRoboto 22101A and Mr Roboto 22101Z attended the RVA VEX VRC Tower Takeover Tournament at the Chester Campus of John Tyler Community College. Both teams competed with a 3 stage traybot and new drivers, with Mia driving for 22101A and Chase driving for 22101Z. Qualifications ended with 22101A ranking 3rd with 5 wins and 1 loss, and 22101Z ranking 22nd with 2 wins and 4 losses. While eliminations were a little disappointing with 22101Z losing quarterfinals 55-3 and 22101A losing semifinals 31-18, as well as many upsets with unclear and inconsistent referee judgings, this tournament was an overall better experience than our other competitions this season. As of right now, 22101A is ranked 35th in the state of Virginia for skills with a score of 10, so we will definitely be working hard to bring that score up for our next competition.
