Seton VRC Tournament 12/21/2019

Team 22101Z's second competition of the season was at Seton High School in Manassas, VA.

Our robot was a traybot with an arm for placing cubes in towers. Our primary strategy for the matches was to focus on making stacks of cubes rather than placing cubes in towers.

There were 29 high school teams present at the competition and 51 total qualifying matches; each team competed in 7 qualifying matches. After the qualifying matches, the top-ranked teams chose alliance partners for the elimination matches. We won the first elimination match 22-9, but were eliminated after our second match which we lost 42-21. Our team finished with a rank of 12 with 3 wins, 4 losses, and 0 ties. We also won the Design Award for our engineering notebook, which was our first award of the season.
